General
It is vital to consider the creation process in order to respond to the question of whether digital art prints are replicas or originals. A print of painting or drawing that has been taken or scanned aims to generate an exact reproduction of the original and is a replica of something that already exists. A digital print is an original since it was made using a computer; the printing process captures the exact moment in time when it transfers from the digital world into the physical; therefore being an original piece. The first time a digital piece is transported from the digital domain to the physical realm is the original for that particular art piece.
The timeframe between when you purchase your artwork and when you receive your artwork is contingent upon what you order. If you are wanting personalized/ customized art, that process tends to take between 2 weeks to 3 months depending on the difficulty of the art piece. If you are wanting an art print that has already been created that you see advertised on the shopping page; that can tend to take as little as 5 days to 2 weeks. If you would like to know specifically the estimated date that your artwork will arrive you can visit our contact page and send us a message!
